MindfulExpenses, developed and operated by LazyCode LLC ("we," "our," or "us"), respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how your data is handled. We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal data, financial information, or email content on our servers.

2. Data Collection and Storage

No Server Storage: We do not have a backend server or database. We do not track you.

Local Storage: All data generated by the extension (expense categories, transaction history, settings) is stored locally on your device within your browser's "Local Storage."

Email Processing: The extension processes emails directly within your browser tab to identify transaction details. This processing happens entirely client-side. No email content is ever sent to us or third parties.

3. Third-Party Services

Payments: If you purchase the Premium feature, payments are processed securely by a third-party provider (e.g., Stripe). We do not have access to your credit card information.

Browser Environment: As a browser extension, we rely on the security and privacy features of your browser (e.g., Chrome, Edge, Firefox).

4. Data Retention and Deletion

Because your data is stored on your device, you have full control.

Deletion: Uninstalling the extension or clearing your browser's "Local Data/Cache" will permanently delete all your tracked expense data.

Export: Premium users may export their data to CSV at any time for backup purposes.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our technical architecture or legal requirements. Updates will be posted on our listing page.
